Apple iAd

Apple is launching its first ever advertising platform. This means that advertisers can now pay apple to have their advert on certain apps. It will launch in Europe starting with the uk and france then moving onto germany.
They already have clients interested such as Louis Vuitton, L'OrĂ©al, renault and more.
It will run on the I phone and Ipod touch as part of the next generation. It will make advertising on mobiles so much easier to access. It will be the same as TV advertising but interactive as well, this will make the buying of the product advertised easier.

The IAd has already secured over $60 million in campaigns pre-booking an advert for the IAd.
This will represent at least half of the mobile ad spend in America for the second of the year.
It estimates that IAd will equate to 21% of actual revenue in the American mobile ad spend this year.

In four months they have managed to double the amount of advertisers on the IAd which means the companies now have a valuable new source of revenue.
